LOL. What too much blue at work?
Not for me. Way too much brown at my work. The trucks the clothes and the attitude.

Serious though zhodz. I like what you have done in this thread.

I think that the current banner is bad ass. I wouldn't mess with it...but that is just me.

As for T shirts, I like black and simple. I would have YMF with the website on it.

OK, just read the whole (tired) thread and I like tunc's jan 1st and 2nd design for shirts. I would definately get one.

what about leavin the banner just get rid of the bike pic and replace it with a member bike pic of the month and it stays for the month and then gets changed (think that is right )

Not a bad thought tunc. Do we have a Bike Of The Month section here?

    not sure of that either
dont know if they can or how often update the banner to achieve this just a thought

LOL. What too much blue at work? Yeah, black does seem to make for better shirts. They're more universal.Although, I didn't realize these were shirt ideas too. I thought we were just working on the banner for the site, then moving back to the shirts once that was done (as per post #19 (by VzdarManiac)). Of course, I'd be thrilled if one of my banner designs ended up on a shirt that people from the forum were wearing. How cool would that be.
Too much blue, indeed, zhodz! I've b een pushing to change our uniforms from a blue dress uniform to a tactical uniform of black tac pants and a grey or black top... No luck so far... "MUCH TOO MILITANT LOOKING FOR OUR FAIR CITY."

Ha ha. Everyone says the OHP is "paramilitary", even though the uniforms don't look it. I think it's because hair, weight, age, physical fitness, tattoos, facial hair, and every other personal aspect is regulated, much like the military does. Oh well, I'd rather that than, the stereotypical fat donut eating, bushy mustache, aviator sunglass wearing look.

......oh and its my bike in this cause i didnt have a pic of yours.......
HA!!! Mine would never win BOTM, it's just a plain black bike with nothing special on it yet. Heck I just now got around doing my helmet, which I wanted to do when I bought the bike. Your's makes a much better choice for an example. I love the idea. I should suggest it to the other forums I'm a member of (Dodge, and Mustang).

    Just fooling around...

First Image is close up of art.

The Second image is on a T-Shirt. I think it should be on the back of the shirt, with a smaller version (maybe just initials) on the front.

It's a Raider... are you guys happy???!!!!

Just Playing Around. Not suggesting it should be used or preferred over any other design. Just giving another design to get confused with...

    Hey, Chaz.

What a nice design, but I'd hate to have to go out and buy a Raider for short distance blasting up and down the Keys just to be able to wear that shirt. : ) Somehow, "V Star," or "Star" should be incorporated into whatever logo is used.

I like that one the best so far. Kinda fitting too because the inception of the Raider really gave this site a boost.

Chaz, I like that idea. Maybe they could try a different design for each of the different bikes... I'd much rather have a 650 than some raider on mine... personal preference...

I can see a problem, here...trying to please many people is a challenge. I chose the Raider because I thought it was one of the "badder" bikes that Yammie makes.

Somehow, "V Star," or "Star" should be incorporated into whatever logo is used.

I need a clarification here. Are all Yamaha bikes called V-Star or Star? Just curious about the protocol... I would think something could be done about that Star issue and/or the V-Star, but the design will start to get busy. Very busy. We are loosely representing Corporate Yamaha so I don't know how far we need to go with their specific logos. That said, I'll try again, soon. But not tonight...there's a little football game on tonight that will determine (ha!) the National Championship.

BTW, Morg. You would look good on a Raider, in a Rambler or Rocket III. I would just like some visitation time if I come by.

.......I chose the Raider because I thought it was one of the "badder" bikes that Yammie makes.........Are all Yamaha bikes called V-Star or Star?.........
I chose it for the same reason. I think Yamaha did a great job on that one, and I would have probably looked at one, had I not been looking for something cheap. It all started, because I know a guy who bought a little 250 Ninja, and he was getting 90mpg. So I started looking at cheap bikes. My 650, was a meer $5,500 with less than a mile on the odometer, the day it was delivered to my driveway (they trailered it to me, because I didn't even have my temps yet). Anyway, I digress. Back to your question. If i understand it correctly they are all "Star Motorcycles". The V-Star is a model. If you go to starmotorcycles.com you will be at Yamaha's main page for all their bikes. On the left of the page is all the models, and it's all under the main logo, with the star symbol, and "Star Motorcycles" right beside that.

I want one. I have a 650 and have no hard feelings about the raider. I want one of them too. I'm waiting.

OK. Here are a couple more designs. It's a good thing the wife is out of town and it's just too darn hot to be riding.

I was thinking of a tag line, like: Star Cycles. Ride the Best. Burn the Rest.
or Star Cycles... Buy one to see the front of this shirt.

But I didn't think that would go over so well.....
