And would like to give me a couple measurements...

What is the length of the mounting flange, top to bottom?

And how far do they stick out? Top of the mounting flange to the tip of the guard.

    Thanks

The mounting flange is about 9.5" long and the top is 9.5" also to the tip. They stick out to about the end of the shift lever. I like them. They look nice and fit the rest of the bikes looks. Only problem I found is if you want to mount some highway pegs to the engine guards, they fit kind of weird and I didn"t think they looked good so I removed mine. (the pegs)

Also the mounting flange is not a straight flat bar, it is kinda S shaped, I will try and remember to look at mine and see what you need to work around if you are thinking of building your own custom engine guards.

Yeah I want to build it my own. partly because I think the price is a bit high also because none of the Yami dealers here know anything about bikes larger than 150cc. Really, tell them you have 2 cylinders and they want to come see it. So maybe I could get them in Japan but that's a 5 hour flight from here. Anyway, I was going to us straight flat bar for the flanges but if you can trace one flange and pm me with it that'd be awesome.
