I just installed my "Big Radius" and I am getting terrible mileage, I assume its because I have no computer controller installed.
I would like to know which one to get and why? I would like to have some control over the settings, but Im NOT a racer so I dont need to tweak everything.

    Thanks

Power Commander V all the way. Smaller, lighter than the III with all of the features of the III plus ad on modules like quick shifter and autotune are available.

I have called Power Commander (DynoJet) and the Power Connector 5 is ONLY for the 2009 and 2010 models. It wont work on the 2008 model.
I have decided on the Power Commander 3....DynoJet is here in Las Vegas and Im trying to set it up with them to use my bike as the test mule for the Big Radius installation.

The PCV will work on 2008 models. Just ask macrozzfan.

Actually I have a PCV on an 08...lots of us do. DYnojet is only saying they are not supporting the 08 (they don't want to bring one in for testing...they told me as much).

Also to verify things I called Yamaha corp and the fuel management systems and motors are identical in 08 and 09.

I've had no problems with my PCV was easy to hook up...only minor cutting of wires is needed (1 or 2 if I remember correctly).

FYI, The PCV is not plug and play on yamahas like they are on harleys.

It's a plug and play for the Warrior. I know were talking about the Raider here; but I did not have to cut and splice any wires on my PC V. Plugged into the TPS and injector sensors. Took 10 minutes for the complete install on my Warrior. BTW, my Warrior is an 2008, so the PC V will work on previous years.

If I recall correctly the only thing I had to do was tap into a 12v power source...I used the accessory plug under the seat. 2 wires go to the right side coils (if I recall corectly) and then the ground under the seat. Its an easy install. But did not have the quick connectors I espected that I'd seen on harley's before.

Dont know if you bought anything yet but just got the big radius 2-2 and a fuelpak from v@h. Save yourself 100 or so bucks from the pc3-5. It took 20 minutes for the hook up and install of map. The difference is unreal. But you definetly need a fuel mod either way.

I did that & wasted $200.00. I had the V&H fuel Pak and while it was ok, I ended up getting the PC V and it was like day and night.
