What are your riding plans this weekend? Its suppose to be nice tomorrow, but then showers in the late afternoon, and showers Sunday. Still going to ride somewhere tomorrow, maybe the eastern side of Michigan to Tawas City, or over to Clare to check out a donut shop(Cops and Donuts).

It's supposed to be raining off and on pretty much all weekend AFAIK, but if it clears up enough, I'll probably ride to Roanoke, Alabama to figure out how to get to the jobsite we're moving to Monday. Should be a nice way to kill a few hours

I took a ride outside St Louis this evening and it was beautiful. Cool, clear, few cars. Beautiful riding conditions.

I might go across the river tomorrow to a dealer in the Belleville area, though it's supposed to rain in the afternoon. If it's as nice Sunday as they say it's going to be I may just take a ride on parts of old Rte 66 east of the city. That's always a lot of fun.

this morning about 8 o'clock i thought i would sneak out before my wife got out of bed, but too late 45 minutes after, when she got ready, we went for a ride to a place called Bendigo which is about an hour away. we stopped there for breakfast. hopped back on the bike and took the long way home. which took about 2 1/2 hours. it was an enjoyable ride. my 650 didn't miss a beat.

We had a nice ride till it rained. Wasn't suppose to rain till this evening. We went up the east side of Michigan(US 23) to Tawas, as we were just leaving it started sprinkling, stopped for gas, put our rain jackets on - should have put on the pants too. It rained harder, needless to say, it was a wet ride for all of the 70 miles. Tomorrows suppose to be nicer, maybe another ride, now that the bike is all cleaned up.

I'm stuck at home too. The wife is out of town, so I got kid duty. I hope to get a chance for a couple hours of ride time later tomorrow.

Well, it's been raining everyday for the last couple weeks so today I decided to be proactive and I finally bought myself some rain gear...so the folks in NC should feel confident that there'll be NO RAIN in the forecast (at least for the near future)! I usually head west to the Blue Ridge but last week I discovered a great northern route towards the Dan River to a place I hadn't been, Hanging Rock State Park. Great views of the valley, tons of hiking trails for any level, waterfalls & swimming holes, clean picnic sites, no fees...just the perfect "day trip." I think that's where I'll end up tomorrow but this time I'll bring my camera.

We loaded the truck in Burnside Ky last Wedensday, came down US27 to Tn 63, to I-75. Lots of Bikes on that back road, making us wish we could be riding ours. 27 is mostly straight but lots of climbing hills and a few pretty good curves. 63 has some wicked curves (for an 18 wheeler anyway) on it. It is raining here so no riding in the forcast for us today.

Whoa, whoa whoa Chic. This is a FAMILY oriented website. Young kids read this stuff sometimes! You definitely need to tone it down a little.

It was a REALLY nice day today (low 80s and low humidity) and I decided to "circumnavigate" St Louis. Used local roads to get started from my home, and I-55, I-70 and I-270 around the city. Right around 80 miles. Made one stop for gas in the beginning and a stop at Panera Bread for something to eat a few miles from home. Traffic was light everywhere except around the airport and that wasn't too bad. A very, very nice day.
