Just wondering how many of us are living and riding here in God's country.

I don't live in Washington, but I'm only about 15 miles from the border, or about 30 miles from Spokane,Wa.
I used to live in Walla Walla for about 10 years, that was 12 years ago.
Do you have a Yamaha dealer there now?
When I was there nearest dealer was in Tri Cities.
I bought my 87 Virago in Milton Freewater. But they went out of business in 89.

I live in Colbert, WA just north of Spokane. My wife and I just started riding this spring and loving every second of it. Hoping I can get her comfortable with the 650 next spring. I'm real anxious to see the new 950. Might be just what I need.

    Gerpil,
We are pretty close, maybe someday we can get together for a ride someday.
Looks like our riding season is coming to a close soon, fall is the air and nights are getting colder. Hate to say it, but probably snow by the end of next month.
Have you ridden over the Blanchard hump yet, fun ride close to home, and very little traffic.

    Good Luck and Ride Safe

    tillikaff,
It would be great to ride next spring. Bummer the cold is coming. I'm thinking about changing the oil and tucking the bikes away for the winter.
I'm sure you will keep posting so look me up next spring and I'll try to do the same.
And no, I haven't been over the Blanchard ride yet. Have heard its a great ride.
    Next year it will happen.
    Until then, stay safe....and warm.

NO!!!!! Ride any time there is no ice. I plan to ride all winter! My friend does, all winter last year he rode, unless thier was snow, slush or ice.

Man you can ride all winter in Walla Walla. In the 10 years I lived there, anytime it snow it was usually gone in 1 or 2 days, and I never saw temps below 0* F.

Last winter I had over 4' of snow in my yard. In November, had temps down to -20* F.

It may only be 200 miles away, but winter is a whole other world up here.
