I want to clean up the rear end of my bike but do not want to add any flexible LEDs (like the stealth signals) I want to keep the OEM tailight only. I've found two so far, Custom Dynamics replaces the guts of the OEM light, and Performance Edge replaces the whole light but the blinkers are only one color-red, not yellow.
Also, I want a vertical plate for the side of the bike so I can remove those huge blinkers and plate from the rear. I've found Morton's, but you have to buy the swingarm cover with it, which I don't like. Raw design shows one that swivels from horizontal or vertical but haven't been able to confirm it will fit the Raider without mods, and Performance Edge seems to make a decent set up. Just looking to see if I've missed anything out there, any pics, other ideas, issues experienced, etc...would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I cut the plastic fender cover with a utility knife. It took some forearm strength but not too bad. I mounted the plate right under the tail light and figure the tail light will light up the plate good enough. If I get the CHP on me I will let ya know. So far so good and they have been behind me in the dark.

I like the CD tailight due to the yellow blinkers. The install made me a little tense but really was pretty smooth. I cut away all the extra plastic and left the plate on the rear of the bike.

I have the Performance edge.com side mount license plate. I had to make extensions because my passenger foot peg mount was in the way. I took some one inch aluminum round stock, cut down to 1.25” long and drilled the bolt holes. Worked great. I like the plate holder. As for the turn signals, I have the stealth signals and I recommend them to all Raider owners.

I hope no one else buys the stealth led’s. I don’t want there bike looking like mine.

There is a post of a guy looking for an insert for a sissy bar. Maybe you could help that guy out because yours looks great. I also like your plate better. I guess I better get back to work.

Hawg, why did you have issues with the passenger pegs? By the picture of the plate online it looks like the PerEdge plate is not in the way of the pegs. Do you have aftermarket pegs or something?

Yes, mine are after market pegs.

Did you go with the chrome plate cover w/LED? Could you post a pic when you get a chance, this is probably the set up I'm gonna go with.

This is exactly what I plan to do too. I have a lighted horizontal plate and the integrated guts on the way. I also ordered 2 color round LED clusters to replace the front bulbs. I really want to leave the plate on the back because I just don't like the way the side mount seems to draw attention to the plate and I don't need attention drawn to an ugly green and white plate on a pretty red, black, and chrome bike.

#&%<%>!, I need to get a camera. I want to take pics of my bike so bad, but at this moment I don’t have the buck20 for a camera. Sorry all. All I can do right now is tell ya about it.

I got the Chrome with the led light. You will be happy with this plate holder.

CustomLED.com for me on the integrated tail. (Blaster X) with 32 yellow and 32 red LED's. Has brake alert and strobe mode as well.

Vertical side mount plate from PE with white LED's for me as well.

I cut all that plastic off the back, hung the plate on the side, and got some small cat eye blinkers from JP Cycles and put em in the fender where the crome trim is. It has worked great

I plan on doing this too but will get the plate bracket with the led lights on the top of it. I keep wondering if the water will flip up on the passengers back with less back fender there. Let me know if any of you have encountered this.

I keep wondering if the water will flip up on the passengers back though with less back fender there. Let me know if what you observe.
I live on a dirt road and after it rains and I ride, I have mud on my tail light. Not on me or the rear fender, just the tail light. Now, I was only doing 20 mph while on the wet dirt.

Since my wife doesn't really like to ride and it doesn't rain too often where I live, like just about never, then I wouldn't be the guy to ask about water splashing. I do prefer the plate in the back for some reason. I have to admit that the tire looks awsome with the plate gone. I am thinking it over but the price of my mode was 0.oo and right now thats what I can afford.........at least with the beer and all. Where did it all go I don't know. Spent most of it on motorcycles women and beer..........I just wasted the rest.

Guys thanks for all the ideas, they all look sweet. I was definitely going to go with the Performance Edge vertical side mount plate with led, until I saw the one made by Raw Design metricfats.com -a little more money, but installs further back by the tire and gives you the option of having the plate vertical or horizontal through the use of heavy duty to magnets. I'm torn-they both seem nice. What to do? What to do..................too many options!
