    trying to get more air to the air box, have barons big air kit with a set of long shot pipes. carbs. been rejetted runs great. can I get more air

    Yes go with a pod setup. Keep the BAK just for looks. You will flow tons more air, you'll need 150 mains to fuel it. What does the BAK have your main jets at?

    As FT says ..you need to dump the stock air box.

    one more correction 2006 and later will require even larger jets 155-157 area.

    And then buy a fuel tanker to follow you around with the less mileage you'll get but hey, with more power comes sacrifices

    I'm still getting 40MPG. But to coin Micks phrase its about the "Smileage"...

    I only get 10 less miles per tank....not a big deal.

    I've heard better...and I've heard worse. There are so many variables and everyone rides different. I'll tell you this....if you do a POD type set up, you'll be on the throttle a lot more.

    I was getting 145-150 miles before I hit reserve....now I get 135-140.... and a BIG grin.
