    HI,
I ride a an 03 Roadstar 1600 Silverado and my wife rides an 04 Vstar 1100 Silverado. We have two sons, 11 and 9, that often ride in the back of our bikes as when we take family outings on our bikes.
We also do alot of family camping in a pop up trailer. We've often said that we'd love to have our bikes with us when we are camping. So we thought the natural progession would be to get us a toy hauler, so we can use it to camp and also use it to take our bikes with us.
We prefer not to go beyond a 30' trailer, so we can still get into some small wooded campsites. (those big monster campers often are confined to particular areas for big campers and we like to get away to the more isolated wooded sites.)
Within the next 2 years we also plan on taking a cross country trip with our kids using the camper. Take 3 -4 weeks to see america, and want to have our bikes with us.
We need to get us a toy hauler and upgrade our tow vehicle so we can safely tow it all. Was wondering if anyone in this forum had any insight or suggestions. Thanks.

You have to take a lot into concideration. What do you have for a tow vehicle, what the tow rateing is, ect. There are a lot of nice smaller toy haulers on the market. Go to "rv.net ". They have a section for toy haulers only, lots of good info.

My tow vehicle is a 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3 Diesel, rated to tow 11,000 pounds. I just bought it.

I'd say your set to go with that tow rig. I pull a 34' triple silde 5er with a 11' utility trailer behind it for the R* and Rhino for desert trips with the kids and grankids. Have a F250 7.3 PSD does a good job.

    Wow,

I have often joked to my wife that we should just add trailers to our trailers to bring along all the toys we want; i.e. the camper, then the bikes, then the boats, and then the enclosed utility trailer for all our other misc. stuff. You know,..make us a regular roadway train. I was joking cause I didn't think it was actually done. I have seen big RV's towing cars; seen trucks towing campers with a bike and maybe even a golfcart in their bed, and even seen suv's pulling trailers with gear on top of them, but I never seen a truck towing a trailer that had another trailer attached. I just saw your pic and .....WOW.
