After checking all options for ORK relocation kit I think I'm going with Baron's. After reading some reviews it looks like I will also need a T.O.R.K. cover. That adds a little to my budget for the job. I did not realize that it is needed [more for looks than anything else]. My question is can it be installed later without removing pipes?
And it may be a stupid question but what T.O.R.K. stands for?
No such thing as a stupid question! Only stupid answers! T.O.R.K. cover stands for "Tim's oil relocation kit" cover. It is named after one of the guys who works for Barons that came up with the idea for the cover. I dont think you will be able to install the O.R.K. without removing the pipes. The T.O.R.K. cover can be installed later without removing the pipes. If the T.O.R.K. cover is too much for your budget, it is possible to modify the stock cover by cutting a portion from it that will allow it to be re-used. You will just need to look at the stock cover with the relocation kit in place and decide which portion will interfere with the O.R.K. and remove it from the stock cover with a dremel. I have even read where some guys have done it with a jigsaw
?
As I indicated in another thread, I have the Baron's ORK too. As it turned out, the chrome below the existing cover was fine, and I didn't need to add the TORK cover. From what I've read, I may be in the minority here. Sounds like many others have found unacceptable flaws.
Guess what I'm saying is, maybe order the cover if you think you may need it, but if the chrome that's exposed after removal of the original is OK, return it and get some chrome for elsewhere?

Thanks for the info. I will try to modify the original cover. If this doesn't work I will order new one since it can be installed without taking pipes off.
