So i took the bike out for another ear popping ride without the baffles in my cruzers and the bike was feeling a tad bit flat on hard throttle and was acting just a touch weird on idle so I remembered the eye bolt/thumb screw mod from on here and stopped by home depot on my way back to get the gear to give it a try. Took about 3 minutes to get them bolted into the pipes and it is extremely odd how something as small as those little eye bolts can effect the whole way the bike runs. i could tell a difference immediately after starting it up. It changed the sound a little bit and was definitely idling a little better. Took it back out down the road and the places where it seemed a little flat still seem just a touch off but definitely improved and over all throttle response seemed to tighten back up a bit. That is a genius little mod that just amazes me. That one little bit of hardware gives enough back pressure back to make a noticeable difference. i had my doubts but the change was obvious. Now i just gotta tune those carbs a little bit, the bike sounds ferocious now. turned heads all the way through town, even made an old man role up his window at wal-mart

Just got back from a little 35-40 mile ride and my ears are just a little bit off right now! Even with my full face helmet covering up my ears this bike is LOUD now and man does it sound good at idle! I gotta say that whatever flat spots i thought i had a day or 2 ago, i must have been imagining because the bike was running like a dog on fire today!. Getting the baffles out of those Cruzers is really letting the GAK make the bike breath now. I saved myself the price of a new bike by just doing those mods,it really does run and sound like a completey different bigger bike now. I Love it!
