The Trick To Removing A Difficult Baffle

I discovered a trick for pulling a baffle out.

After I removed the two set-screws, I still couldn't remove the baffles. I could not get a good enough grip on the tiny lip that is inside of the end cap.
I didn't want to do any damage to the chrome by applying pliers or any other tool to it.

I inserted a 13mm socket into the tail pipe, and turned it sideways. (Sorry I didn't get a picture of this step.) I then grabbed the middle of the socket with a pair of pliers, and pulled on the socket a few times. After a few yanks, out it came.

    I hope this helps.
