What is the largest capacity V-twin motorcycle engine commercially available?

I do not want one. I just want to know out of curiosity.

Its the Gates 154 Harely Twin
Optimized 45 degree Twin Top-End design. Unique high flow billet cylinder head design featuring: Drastically raised ports, Corrected valve train geometry, Titanium components, and high-end automotive racing technology.

This monster also features a heavy-duty crankcase, offset cam chest, specifically designed Gates Performance pinion shaft, and dyno tuned intake runner.

Horsepower and Torque information will be released in spring of 2005. Expect the 12 to 1 option to exceed 200 HP

It depends on what you are looking for. S&S is making some huge displacement motors that anyone can throw into a kit bike. Big dog and the like are doing that as we speak. I tend not to count those because not everyone can afford them. Although for my own custom build I'll likely go with an S&S or ultima (rumour mill has been saying for the last few years the Yamaha will offer their engine packages for custom builds but not as of yet)

If you are talk commercially available bikes then I'd say the Raider is the biggest out there. I can't think of a larger displacement V-Twin off the showroom floor. Again not counting the builders bikes like OCC, Big Dog, Screaming Eagle and the like.

Does OCC offer bigger displacement motors?

Right now their production line bikes come with a 96 ci engine. Seeing as they build to order you could get a larger displacement if you so desire.

Oh and their prostreet has a 124 ci motor. Guess I have to look at their website closer and not take the word of the Rally Venders.

Ive learned that SMZ is up to date on bikes and knows his stuff.

That being said the biggest Jap bike full production is the Kawasaki 2000 Vtwin.

The triumph is 2294CC Triple. My buddy has almost 100,000 miles onhis with No issues.

There you go I stand corrected. Kawi has the biggest production vtwin.

Those 2300 cc triples just sound mean don't they. They have a very distinctive sound that gets the juices flowwing.

So the Kawa 2000 seems to be the biggest production v-twin.

Kawasaki makes a 2000cc Vulcan. I've seen somewhere that is had 96 HP and 120 something for tourque. Sure doesn't look as good as the Raider.

Looking at that, if I had the money, for sure I'll buy me a Raider. Better looking by a mile.

Yes the largest that i know of by "commercial" motorcycles is the Vulcan 2000, but i hear there is no comparison between the raider and the vulcan, the hp to weight ratio is much more on the raider side.

I think you should have said practical because this is "THE WORLD’S BIGGEST RUNNING MOTORCYCLE, built in series"

410 cubic inches, two-cylinder V-type engine, yep cubic inches!

it costs 235,000.00 Euros, which is roughly $300,000.00 dollars
Hell, my Raider was a bargain, and much easier to corner!

I saw all kinds of pictures of that giant Gunbus, but couldn't find any shots or videos of it moving! Just that tiny little blonde sitting on it, so it looks even bigger!

    2009 Kawasaki Vulcan® 2000 (MSRP: $14599)
    2053 cc/125ci

    2009 Star Raider S (MSRP: $14490.00)
    1854cc / 113ci

The Vulcan "in person" looks like the picture!

The Raider however, looks 10x better "in person".
