    Hi everyone,
I have been noticing in the last week that my front brakes are becoming very squeeky.
When slowing down it's not the smooth feel that I had when It was 2klms (1.25 miles) old.
I've done now 2500kmls (1553 miles) in just over a month.
I do ride in the rain as well.
I clean my bike once a week.
I've not had to do an emergency stop.
I always use both brakes for normal stops but as im about to stop sometimes I release rear brake and I can really hear the front's squeeking.
Disc feels fine with no grooves.

    Any suggestions???
    Cheers
    Alfie

True Mick you are on same par with me I wonder if this is a trend. I wonder if it needs adjusting? or like you said new. Maybe it needs time to bed in?

Caused by one of two things:

Glazing on the front brakes ...... try some hard breaking or sandpaper to remove the glazing on the pads.

The stupid rubber hose they use for your front brakes..... switch to a braided SS brake line. I don't buy the reasons I've heard about why this works but it does, shortly after replacing the brake line you'll notice the squeak is gone.

Thanks mate I will try the sandpaper first if it fails then braided line.
