Ok, so I had an old pair of '59 Caddy tail lights laying around and a V Star Custom rear fender sitting on the same shelf. I started thinking..... (there is where I get into trouble) .... hmmm... what if I modified that fender for the tail lights? I really am sick, huh? they'll function as tail, stop and turn signal lights too.
Yup, I'm sick.....
Now, how should I paint this thing? I'm thinking of some big 60's style flake with candied skulls maybe.... I'd appreciate any ideas....
I want to see it when you get it together. I have been playing with torpedo lights myself. Just haven't figured out my mounts yet. Caddy lights might be the way to go.
These mounted pretty easily. Forgive the roughness of everything but this is what I've got so far. I'm toying with frenching them in, but my initial tries made the fender look too "heavy" in the back with the under fender completely filled in. Sometimes simpler is better....
You are SICK! Man they look like boobs sticking out under the fender! But that's a good thing!! I like orginial! Keep posting pic. now that you have my attention!

I wouldn't call that look simple!

In the now immortal words of Joe Dirt..."Boobs is good".
