I came across a guy riding a Raider at a gas station today. I don't know any Raider riders and I think this is the first time I've seen one outside the showroom. It's always better to see bikes out in the real world.

It was burgundy/red and as far as I could tell it was all stock. I must say that the Raider is one sweet looking ride! Sounded nice too, especially for stock. The rider told me that he enjoys putting Harleys to shame at every opportunity.

A tip o' the hat to mother Yammie for not standing pat and continuing to put out great bikes like the 1300 and Raider!

I've said it once, I"ll say it a thousand times. IF momma EVER decides NOT to ride double with me anymore , a RAIDER is on the top of my 'will have' list.
    One sharp ass motorcycle!!!!!!!

I ride two up all the time. I have the solo seat and the p- pad with the quickrelease backrest and the billet fender cover 10 minute switch over, best of both worlds when mom dont want to ride, bam, solo goes on.......

I keep the Mustang seat and Cobra sissy bar on all the time, so it is ready for two up when needed. But, I don't want the saddle bags on my Raider which are almost required for any multi-day two up riding. My wife doesn't want that kind of riding anyway so for a two up overnighter I use a tail bag and get by fine. When I go on multi-trips on my own a tail bag and another bag on the passenger seat are more than I need.

What JuzdSdewe said,I looked at the Raider but decided on the 13 because I wanted to make the wife as easy on my wife as I could riding with me.I love my 13 but I might change if the wife doesnt want to ride.

one of the guys I ride with has a Raider and loves it. He and his wife ride 2 up all the time, in fact she "thinks" its as much hers as it is his...I get a good laugh out of her. Anyway, it's a sweet bike with a TON of torque. It's nothing for him to spin the tire through 3 gears. We switched up bikes one day to run to the gas station and it's a very comfy ride, the riding position was very nice. I could go on, but I won't. I'm looking forward to riding my 1300 tomorrow, all last week was either bad weather or too cold. Be safe

Yeah, I've only had my 1300 6 months, but I think I've already found my next bike. Don't get me wrong, I love my 1300 and I will probably keep it another year, but I believe the Raider will be my next one.

<-- Would like to own a Raider as well. I saw a black one on my ride yesterday. I put Harley's to shame on my 1300 all the time. Handling, straight line performance, etc. Haven't been up against a real Screamin' Eagle or a V-Rod, but Heritage Softails, Fatboys, Road Kings, etc. are no match, performance-wise for the 1300. I couldn't imagine how much better a 1900 Raider performs.

The Raider rider told me that he especially likes coming across V-Rods because they think they're the cat's ass until he puts them in their place.
