    Aren't those cool....been out for a while and they just amaze me. Gives you a chance to properly fit before actually building...

    I can't pull up the video now, but I know Ford was an early pioneer for this technology. They wanted to use it for both prototyping new items and the archival of parts from day one. 3D scanning and printing is just amazing technology.
    I was a tech grad student when the Digital Michelangelo project was underway, and the study was just phenomenal for the time. You've got to google it to appreciate it. We've come a long way since then, and it's just getting better every day!
