Just got my new Oil Pressure gauge in the mail from Tim B (Metric Magic)... here is a pic of one on Tim's bike.....looks sweet huh?

Gotta add putting this on the bike to the list for "Mick's January Bike Mod Marathon".

What do yo think? Tim has more @ about $100 and it's an easy install. The others I've seen are are about $160-$190 so it's a great price.

Yes, it comes with a replacement bolt to replace the one at the bottom of the oil line....the new bolt has a threaded outlet that the gauge screws into... 10 minute install... all the pieces come in the kit including new copper washers. Tim did a great job on these!

remember while riding to keep an eye on the road..not on the gauge.
what kind of pressure does a 1100 hold?

I'll tell you the pressure as soon as I get it installed...looking at mid Jan unless I get a few days off to complete my "to do" list.... looks like Tim's was about 19 lbs or so at the bottom of the head in the above pic.

As you know, the "idiot" light in the speedo is only a low oil level indicator, not a low pressure indicator.

Also, the light does seem to have a tendency to come on occasionally...this will just provide the relief to know that there is still oil pressure. That and it looks really good.....
