Hello to everyone. * I am glad I found this forum. I have already checked out the Royal Palace and some questions that where in my thoughts already answered. * I am very pleased so far with my bike. I posted a thread about adding leather mud flaps to my bike?? I don't yet know what to do. I already purchased fender tips, and don't know if I can use the mudflaps, adhessive maybe?? Clearance problem with fender tips. Won't allow use of screws in mud flaps.* I love to ride and usually take a couple long 4-5 day rides a yr besides my every day riding.* I was 5 yr making my mind up on which brand to go with, and glad I went Yamaha.

Welcome to the YMF Fussj. Congrats on the RStar. I know you will like that bike. It's a nice ride. Be sure to post some pics of it in the gallery.

Welcome to the site. Some of the fender tip use sticky tape, but I think the other style is drill and bolt. If so maybe you can use that type to get your mudflaps on also. Ride safe.

    Thanks Jonezpoj,
Mine are drill two holes and bolt.
I have tried some differant ideas this evening and have setteled on using long shank 1/8 ribitts. Very small head on these, and a washer behind leather. A very good friend and brother in our church is going to make the mud flaps for me. I have to bring him a pattern, which I made up this evening out of paper and then cardboard.
