I'm just so glad your butt is happy! A happy butt makes for a happy rider, and a good seat will make all the difference in the world!

I just went for my first distance ride (a little over 250 miles) this weekend in my new Corbin seat, and it really does reduce rider fatigue.

Lookin good man! I know your gonna love it on the long rides. I rode well over 200 miles on mine this weekend and it is as comfortable the last mile it is on the first.

They look awesome! I was deBAT738ing on whether to get the studded ones or not and I think these pics sold me on them.

Love one but at $1300 in Australia it might have to wait until I win the lotto.

Probably could but by the time echange rates are taken into consideration postage import duties etc its probably not much different to buying in Oz. I was quoted $330 for postage on a set of Cobra slipons for my 1100.

    Adrian

Just got an online quote for the 2 piece mustang seat for $926 including postage from mustangseats.com its only a few $$$ less than Australian prices.

So I have noticed that alot you guys are impressed with Mustang seats. I also want to upgrade to a better than stock seat and I am in the market for a stilleto style seat for my 07 Custom. I ride 95% of the time solo, but want something for my woman to sit on when she wants to come for a ride. We don't ride together for long trips, but I want her to be comfortable if we take off for an hour or so. I do want it to be comfortable for me as well as I do plan on making some long distance trips. Do you guys think the stilleto style is okay for this? I am really partial to its looks and the Mustang Profiler just doesn't do it for me. Is the Yamaha Stilleto a good replacement or is the Corbin better??
I currently ride with the stock seat and passenger pillion removed for the solo look, and throw on the passenger seat (takes two minutes) when I take her for a drive, so I am also open to any other senarios similar to this, if it ain't to much of a pain.
Any opinions or real life experiences would be greatly appreciated before I go spending my hard earned cash and end up being disappointed.

    Thanks guys and safe riding!

My new Mustang seat is due for delivery on Friday. I'm so excited as I am on vacation next week and want to take a long ride up to the White Mountains in NH.

How was the install of the seat? Pretty quick?

aogzz, I have the same seat except braided. Can't get much better than a 'happy butt' on a long ride. BTW, I notice that you don't have a pad on your sissy bar. I bought the same Yamaha sissy bar & luggage rack on Ebay for $85, but it didn't come with a pad. I was going to buy a pad, but I like the looks of it on your bike without a pad. Maybe I'll just leave mine that way. BTW, sharp looking bike, look the color.

putting them on was easy....remove your bracket from stock rider seat and bolt it onto the mustang seat. then bolt them on to your bike took me about 20 mins.

haha....yeah i was planning on getting a matching backrest pad for mine. but my old lady isn't bitching about it yet so i'll wait on it. i sort of like the look of it without the pad to.
