Made up my mind

I finally made up my mind. I bought an new 06 1100 Classic Black Cherry last Friday. Got it for $7,600 when the dust settled after trade. On paper, got $4,700 for my 07 650 Custom. I know many of you thought I should get the 1300. Due to it being more money than I wanted to spend and that I like the way the 1100 looks better.... Bike has about 50 miles on it now. Waiting for better weather so that I can break it in. Believe it or not, I'm looking forward to the first oil change, so that I can see how "fun" it really is. We'll see about the ORK. Thanks for all the help in making this decision.

rzchafer2 you'll enjoy the 1100. would love to ride in your area. i have friends that live west of you between jordan and circle. i've never been to glendive i usually come in from miles city. i plan to take the northern route the next time out. looking forward to hearing more about your bike and rides.

I'll try getting som photos on board after the extras show up. Right now it is a bit naked. Waiting for windshield, sissy bar, lugguage rack and passenger floorboards, nothing too fancy, but essentials.

the boonies is an understatement!! they own a cattle ranch on the long dry arm of fort peck lake. nice place to visit but i wouldn't want to live there. i usually throw my wallet in the glove box of the truck when i get there. no place to spend any money. they sure know how to make you feel welcome. southern hospitality could take a few lessons from the good folks in Big Sky Country.
