At a truck shop, I purchased 4 bullet lights for possible usage for the license plate. Has anyone ever used these? Bullet lights have a single red wire with a LED light. Can I use wire connectors to attach to the taillight wiring system? Either running lights or brake light?? Would this work...Which wire would I attach each one to and would I need to increase any fuse requirements??

I used a 3 LED light to light up my side mounted license plate it had two wires I put mine on the inside of my finder and taped it into my runing light on my brake light for power.LED's dont pull much power so i did't up my fuse.

With a single wire light, you just need to make sure the body of the light is grounded. Run the wire to your running lights wire. Just use a circuit tester to find the right wire tap into.

I'd recommend solder and shrink tubing for the connection, you can use wire crimp connectors, but I've found that they can cause you nightmares down the line. LED's draw very minimal power, so you usually don't need to add a fuse.
