Anyone put LEDs on their bikes to show their chrome? If so lets see the pics... help me figure out where to put my LEDs... I put two on today... and I just don't know where to put the others to get it to light up... I have mine at the back of the tank but putting them on the middle and front of the tank is a challenge because there doesn't seemt to be something to stick them to to have them point the right direction... I'm on a VSTAR 650.

Hiya ive got them on my Royal I put them under the tank on the frame with double sided tape & also with normal tape for extra. Put the tank back on & adjusted them when it got a bit darker ( the leds I had came out of a little box about 10 mil so you stuck the box down that way you where free to adjust the led ) regards Max

Hi Max, thanks for the reply.... I was looking at the bike last night and decided that on the frame is going to be the best place like you decided... I see that there are two bolts on the tank by the seat... I removed those and I can tilt the tank a few inches. My tank does have a little gas in it... can I lift it up more? I have no idea where the hoses to tank come off... I figure one for the choke maybe? and one for the fuel valve? i was hoping to not take it off.. By the way I am using the Electropods from Street FX

Dont know to much about the 650 but I would imagine its the same as the star range the hose from the tank goes to the carbs just turn it off at the tank & then take the hose off at the tank ( if theres another hose at the tank so long as the tank is turned off should be ok if the other hose is at the top it could just be a breather hose just disconnect it itll be ok) undo the 2 bottom bolts lift the tank & pull towards the seat if it dont come of it may be bolted at the front. best of all dont panic its only a tank its not like your messing with clutch plates or out. try to take it off because it really does give you the best chance at lining the leds up. I put mine directly above the centres of the heads so you had better adjustment with the tank back on hope this helps......Max

There's a valve at the tank at the end of the hose to turn it off??? I'll have to go look.. I turned of the Fule Valve, but figured it could still come out of the tank...
