I'm going to this summer. I've been looking at soft luggage on the net. Looks like the stuff from Revpak might be what I need. I'm open to suggestions.

I'll be camping this Summer, I just had a luggage rack installed just for that purpose, to carry my tent and sleeping bag. Everything else goes in the saddlebags.

chazer101 is on a nice trip now around the Southwest. Said he's had trouble with rocks crawling under his sleeping bag during the night....... LOL

Yea, funny how those rocks come alive at night to harrass you!

I have luggage rack also. I'm looking at the stuff that I think I need to pack, but the bag it will take to hold it all will be enormous. I might have to rethink my plan. The trip I want to take next year will be 10-12 days through northern New Mexico and southern Colorado.

The Dowco Iron Rider Luggage set is great. They hold a lot of stuff and is very easy to put on and take off the bike. Although I'm not sure if they can hold enough for 10-12 days. Two of us went on a 3 day trip and was able to fit everything into one set. Here is a link if you want to check it out:
