What size are you runing on the rear.my factory size is a 170 I thank on mine but wanted to go wider when i replace it ( still have a while to go though only have 4500 on it metz 880 merithon)just wondering how wide i can go on the factory rim and not rub the shaft

Thanks guys! The rear is a 200 Avon. It was real tight on the right side before I took the wheels apart. I told the guy lacing them up to hold it to the left a little, but he went too far. The 200 is a VERY tight fit, but looks so much better.
Got it back together and took her for the maiden voyage tonight. Just a short trip through town and back. I still need to get mirrors and sync the carbs. THe only hitch was that now the turn signals (bar ends) blink together when I turn one of them on. If I hit either left or right, they both blink. They worked fine before I put everything back together, so I am not sure what is going on there. Any ideas?

As for your blinker problem, from where I sit looks like an electrical problem...yeah, I'd let you punch me on the arm for sayin' that if we were together...sorry bro, like Sgt. Schultz, I know nothing, nothing....

Been there, done that. They are LED's I'm guessing. They bleed through the indicator on the speedo to the other side. You need to either pull out the light bulb or put a diode in line to stop the bleed over.
