Tins are going to paint, and I am about to pull the wheels apart to powdercoat and install stainless spokes.

The hubs and rims will be powdercoated black with stainless spokes from Buchanans. The tins are getting a Toyota silver with some striping somewhat inspired by a Yamaha shirt I have. Thanks guys.
Spring is coming so it will all be worth it when completed. Sounds great and can't wait to see pics.

Well, we have hit a couple of snags getting the bike back together. First the painter dropped my rear fender and chipped the paint, so I only have the tank and front fender so far. Then the guy lacing my wheels back up couldn't get the rear one back together, so I had to help him. He owns one of the coolest bike shops in the Midwest for pete's sake! I need to learn to lace up wheels I guess. So, at least I have half of the parts back and the front wheel is on...
Patience my friend. These things always happen for a reason. It'll be done soon. (Please remind me I said that a little later on...OK?) At least you got a couple pieces back....show us some pics?

I got the back wheel on but the tire was rubbing the driveshaft, so it had to go back to the shop to get the rim moved over. I do finally have all my tins back and actually got the front fender on.
