I have feelings Mikey, you hurt them.........

I rode for years without a windshield except for long trips, it feels nice when a scud hits the windshield at face level and yellow innards ooze out and spread across the windshield. Can we use another term instead of wuss, us Canadians make it up for riding in the real cold..... don't be afraid to back me up my fellow wusses

Real cold? Come on Yammj this year is the first time in a long time you Vancouver guys had to put your bikes away and bring out the shovel for more than a day. This year I rode mine, in Canada, up until just before new years when the roads got too salty. Now with all the rain you guys get I can understand a windshield without one nothing can keep you dry.

I envy you tho, I lived in Victoria for 4 years but was between bikes so I never got experience 363 days of riding. (for those that don't know you usually have one or two snow days a winter there)

Sorry if I hurt your feelings but I just think you are missing part of the experience if you can't identify bugs by taste.

New development... The guy answered one of my emails and said he'd ship it Monday. We'll see, but for now I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

BTW, with all the talk of hitting bugs, I think I'll definitely keep my full-face for now! Now if I can just get my scoot back from the shop I'll be able to ride again... I ended up taking the bike it for a full checkup. They said the bike was in good condition, except for some carburetor piece that was leaking. They had to order a part, so I'm out a week of riding and an extra 300 bucks.

Hey Mikey, my back is still sore from shoveling snow for two weeks this year, still have a big pile in the yard, for the Wet Coast that's not normal. My feelings are fully healed now. I'll definitely take the windshield off in the summer just to feel what its like being not a wuss.

As for Victoria, yes it's too bad you were in between rides than...... it's nice place to ride year long.

    damn straight, mikey!!!!

That sounds typical of a rider who whines about the "riding season." Ride 365 days a year, rain or shine, and for up to 1,400 miles in a single day without a windshield and I'll be impressed.

A couple of Florida downpours will change your tune, if you ride in them. You'll see what I mean this summer, Mikey!
