Thanks everyone for the warm greetings.

    Meet my sweet little girl

The other day I was at the local shop minding my own business strolling up and down the rows of new bikes as I do about this time every year. Then suddenly far from a distance I noticed her looking at me. I was kind of nerveious at first, you know how you are when you know that you are deeply attracted to someone.

Anyways I knew I just had to have her. When I told the salesman, he kinda laughed and said "she's kinda old isn't she, and wouldn't you perfer one of these young Sweeeeet Honeys over here", looking the other direction.

But I told him that "at my age I like a girl with a little experience!"

Anyways, to make a long story short.

Shes a 2000 650 V-Star Classic with 10k on the clock. She has the passing light package, bags on the side, sissy bar in the back, nice size windshield, floor boards, and I believe aftermarket Cobra Cut Throat pipes.

To top it off, my wife already hates her.

I would say it's a match made in heven

    Can't wait for spring!

    Bill

If it helps you could always tell your wife that you'll never find a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrist's office. Just think how much money you are saving by having your new girl provide your "therapy"

I think I'll mention that to her when she discovers my helmet under the bed

Thanks, your girl looks pretty bitchen too. I like the rich purple.

It's kinda hard to see but my girl is two tone. Maroon with black in the shade and turns to deep purple in the light.

Hope you're right about the wife, but if it's like the Gold Wing I had. I will be lucky when the day comes where she just tolerates it. I guess I can sum it up in just one sentence.

    She doesn't ride.

Years ago I lived close to round town ((((.))))

I know you're a little further south than that, but some nice open country roads to ride.

Oh $*&%!, I just realized that I posted this thread in the wrong section

Maybe a moderator will move it to the right category???

Hey, what do you expect from a guy in love

I'm sure as time goes on I will have a lot of questions in regards to improving my ride, but for now the only thing I can think of getting her is a "CAM-LOCK" Throttle Control

    What do you think?
