    Hello all,

I would like to introduce myself. I am a newer rider (at 37) of a 650 Vstar Silverado. Just over a year ago, it was delivered to my house with 2/10 of a mile on her and now she has just shy of 13,000. I ride in the rain and even when the snow is still on the ground(you have to in Michigan). I had never operated a motorcycle until I took the motorcycle safety course. I have enjoyed reading all of the wonderful tips that experienced riders have posted on this site and hope someday to have some time and experience as well so I can return the priceless favor.

I'm an old leatherhead and unfortunatly used to gender profiles, however, I am willing to change and open minded. Keep the faith and everyone goes home. Stay Safe.

Welcome to the YMF HozeDrakkerLFD. Like Bulltok said, you are definitly much tougher than me. I will ride in the cold, but not the rain and snow or ice. I draw the line at precipitation. You'll enjoy the 650 section alot and MickyCoyote holds much knowledge about them.

    Ride Safe

LFD? Lansing Fire? MPD here (Midland) Police. If you ever head up, post me an IM, we can ride together.
