From July 2 till August 8th I'll be on the roundtrip ride of a life time from Orlando to Fairbanks, and I'm hoping to hold down cost by staying with forum members along the way when I can. Already, I have a lot of help in many areas but still lack a few. Northern Indiana or Illinois, Montana, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Tennessee and Kansas City or St.Louis. Thanks to all my brothers and sisters in the wind that will take the time to even consider offering the SNOTHOG and myself a place to stay for a night. I'll move on each morning so as not to inconvenience my host. I don't drink, smoke or do any drugs at all, but I'll talk m/c's till the cows come home.

I am 300 miles south of Fairbanks just north of Anchorage here in Wasilla, you probably would not go this direction unless you went due west instead of heading northwest after you cross the border, but just in case you are welcome to drop in and I have shop space and tools if you need to do any service work, we also have a local Yamaha dealer with an excellent shop as well.

I cannot really offer lodging as I have too many cats and kids at my house!

Siverado6x6, I like the idea of having someone close by that can help in a pinch! I think my Raider is up for the journey 100%, but I will be needing tires about then. Might get up with you on that to get me home safely. again. Thanks again for the consideration.I am 300 miles south of Fairbanks just north of Anchorage here in Wasilla, you probably would not go this direction unless you went due west instead of heading northwest after you cross the border, but just in case you are welcome to drop in and I have shop space and tools if you need to do any service work, we also have a local Yamaha dealer with an excellent shop as well.I cannot really offer lodging as I have too many cats and kids at my house!
