Today I took the day off from work and decided to head down to the parts store. Why not log on some miles and spend money on ol' blue at the same time. I ended up getting momma some floorboards along with a tail bag. Tomorrow we will be going shopping for some riding pants and momma wants a textile jacket. Well I had to stop for lunch now I will be heading out to put on some more miles.

Which sticker are you refering too?
The one that is on top of the gas tank, The one that is near the tank refueling cap.

Just peal that sumbitch off...and remove any residue with some goo gone or that other citrus stuff. Make sure you use a microfiber towel too.

    +1 hairdryer and WD40.

    Additional hints:
    - Use the sticker or a little piece of duct tape to remove any stickiness that won't lift up.
    - Don't use a hot air gun, as the temps get so high you can begin to blister paint.
    - Be sure to give the bike a good wax job afterwards, as you just removed any of the dealer's cleaning/polishing agents with the WD-40.

And notes of life: If it should move and doesn't, apply WD40; if it moves and shouldn't, apply duct tape.

You might also try to slide some light fishing line under the sticker after you've sprayed some WD-40. Whatever you do, don't force anything. Take your time and DON'T SCRATCH YOUR TANK!!!!
