Just got a new 2007 Vstar Classic. Have put 105 miles on it so far. I am wondering how long I should wait before I make the exhaust upgrade and a hypercharger kit. Any advice?
Do it now.... if you want it. I know some say to wait for the beak in period to end, but I've done exhaust / fuel modifications to almost every bike I've owned right out of the box. Just read the warranty information to make sure you aren't violating warranty parameters.
my stepfather just picked up a silverado and it had hardchrome straight pipes on it. VERY nice. Quite through the city, and RUMBLES on the road. It was the best of both worlds. I'll get a vid of it.

I had some HKs put on before I took delivery of my classic 1100. They sound and look great. My dad and a few of my uncles, all of whom ride HDs, said they were very impressed with the build quality and the looks of the V Star. I had to rub it in a little and tell them that I also could have bought almost 3 V Stars for the price of their HDs.
Thanks for the info! My dad and uncle also have HDs and tried to sway me their way as well and thats so true about the pricing.
