Anyone have one of the under tank pod kits from Dragon's Breath? Do you like it and did it come with a false filter box?
Does anyone have the cones, do you like them? Do they require a raincoat when washing the bike, not that I wash my bike.

Ther are a couple versions of Tim's Dragons Breath. One is with the exposed filters and the under tank type which you asked about. With a pod kit you elimiNade the under tank airbox, put filters directly on the carbs and rejet accordingly. No need to worry about water with a under tank kit. I have the Chubby pod kit which is basically the same thing and I love my Chubbys. By cones do you mean torque cones? I believe you would only need torque cones if you have open exhaust. Could be wrong there tho.

As 78ordon says, there is no airbox on either set up. I think the "cones" you're talking about are the cone shaped filters on the external set up. No real need to cover them except if you are riding a good distance in heavy rain.

Tim from Metric Magic is a great guy and a personal friend. He'll take good care of you....

Cone shaped airfilters. I think that I like that look, they cost a little more. When I asked about a false filter box, I meant a vanity that replaces the stock air intake on the right side, I see a picture on the DB website that looks good, just trying to figure out if it comes with it, if it is for both sides, I can't tell by the pic.

No faux filter included. You can leave the existing dogbowl or put anything you like there. A lot of different ideas out there. I picked up a Speedstar filter to hang there.

Finally quit here. Supposed to be warm and dry for the next week.
Problem now is I have so much to do before I leave there isn't time to ride.

Anyone know whered to get a faux filter? The problem is the previous owner has a lit-up skull on the dogbowl and it is in the way; I want to get rid of it so that I can brake better, I also want to upgrade my air intake as well that is why I think airspears to replace the stock crap might look the best for me and get rid of some cluter.

just gety the GAK and get rid of all that stuff.

A BAK won't give you any performance gains. Pods are the way to go if you want performance gains.
