I started my 08 vstar classic like i do every two weeks in the winter time and everything sounded fine. But the i noticed my front cylider wasn't even warm after about 10 minutes but the back cylinder was hot enough you could't keep your hand on it. then i felt the exhaust air and again the back was hot and the front was cool. Is this normal? Sound wise it sounded like both pistons were firing. well thanks for any replies.

Doesn't sound normal at all. I'd pull the plugs and compare them to the pictures on ngksparkplugs.com/tech_support/spark_plugs/faqs/faqread.asp. My guess would be that the front will be fouled. Please let us know what you find.

Check to see if you are getting any spark with the plug grounded too...
