I'm trying to figure out what you're asking. Are you saying that you want to install new o rings, or that you already installed new o rings and one is still leaking?

If it's still leaking with a new one, something is preventing it from sealing. Take it off and make sure everything is spotlessly clean on both surfaces and that the o ring is still in the groove and that the bolts are tight.

    If it's an old o ring...replace it.

leak repaired, still have a problem with start when hot,as if the cyl is loading with fuel, might it be fuel inlet valve? does not happen when engine is cold, times are the gas smell is quiet strong. thanx much. 07 silverado 1100 w. 26k

That has been a problem with 06 up 1100's. Some feel it's an issue with the jet holder design and the fuel shut off solenoids. Once the jet holders are ground down and the solenoid holes drilled out inside the float bowl we've seen the hard start situation reduced.

I'm not sure if it's heat related or what, but it is rare on "pre" pollution bikes to have this issue. I just did the mods to my carb and I'll let you know how it works...
