Thanks for the votes in Chic's new "blingage" poll. I just came back from the Yamaha shop and am ready to put my new fender tips on. I'll let you know how it goes in a short while... including pics.

Looks to be really easy install - foam-backed automotive adhesive. Requires 24 hours cure time before next ride. We'll see... maybe just no detailing for 24 hours.

Items needed for install: Iso alcohol, steady hands, and the recommended dry erase marker to make guide lines. Total install time (including a good polish and photo shoot): 20 minutes

The rear tips are really tough to see with the Tourer's saddlebags:

I've already got the fender tips, they add a nice touch. Those are some great pics, LOVELY BIKE. I really like the saddlebag guards......checking out the bank balance

WoW that is one nice looking 950

Quick question, the Linbar, how easy/hard was it to install? Did it just bolt on or do you have to remove something first then bolt on?

    Very nice pictures

I'd be interested in hearing an answer to that too. I plan on getting the same bar only going to spring for the extra $50.00 to get it black powder coated to match my black 950

My lights go on next week yipee

You have to remove (or loosen) the floorboards. The Linar bolts to the frame using the front bolts that hold the floorboards on.

Ohhhhh! I love Bling! (I'm such a girl. Or more like a magpie attracted to shiny things....)

Beautiful bike!!! I wonder what the tips would look like on Liquid Silver - would there be much of a contrast? Anyone done it?

A gal in our STAR chapter has them on her silver 1300, and they look very sharp!
It's tough to see them in the photo, but I think the chrome does really stand out:
