I have a 09 1100 custom. As you can see by the pic, I want to remove the ugly plastic fender and rear signal lights, to clean up the rear of the bike and open up the rear tire more. I'm looking to add these signal lights and just wondering if anyone here has seen them or used them, or if they are compatible on my bike. I have sent and email to Arlen Ness with no response. Id like to put them on the front as well actually. Any ideas or suggestions?

Long story short they will work as long as you can find a way to mount them and supply them with both +ve(signal wire) and -ve (ground).
They will work you just have to run a ground to the housing or any metal that the housing attaches to. That is assuming they are a single wire like the picture. They won't connect to the plastic extensions on not the holes on your existing licence plate bracket.
I would suggest that you pick up a replacement licence and tail light mount from JP cycles. They have one that comes with signal mounts on it already:

I've hear mixed reviews of the product for 1100's (it fits the 650 as well)
You can check out west-eagle.com as well. They have some neat stuff for the metric bikes, including a tail light / licence mount that will accept a standard tail light with 2 inch centers on the bolts (harley taillight).
I noticed that you are in Canada, give dreamcycles.net a try for that item. I didn't see it in their web catalog but give them a call they may have something for you.
Thanks for your reply. What I was going to do was put a vertical side mounted lic. plate, and put the new lights up on the sides of the fender through the last bolt on the fender trim. I have access to a water jet, so i was going to remove the plastic fender and remove all the plastic under the tail light and keep the stock tail light intact and replace it.
Thanks for the links... I will check them out for sure!
Water Jet EH! Perhaps I should come see you with some ideas. It's only a drive around the cabot trail and ferry ride away. Just Kiddin LOL
