Got the Hard Krome black strippers today. Took about 2 hours to install while also changing the transfer case oil. It definitely would have gone faster if I had a second pair of hands. But the only one around was my 13 year old son and he is less than enthusiastic about doing anything mechanical. Not his time yet. Anyway they look and sound great. If I have one complaint it would be the O2 sensor location. It is further downstream than stock and thus the factory harness needs to be rerouted. You can see the wire running up the swing arm. Other than that I am pleased as pie.

Go to the exhaust and there is a video of these pipes. I just installed mine as well. I also purchased a PCIII. Hard Krome has a download on their site, and it worked PERFECTLY. Then there is also no need for the O2 Sensor.

    They sound AWESOME!

First ride with the new pipes today (was terrible weather yesterday) and they sound sweet. Very deep toned with one hell of a bark to them. Plus they give much more room on the right side of the bike. Short guys like myself can really appreciate that. Now to change my engine oil.

When you installed yours did you see the little L bracket? What is that for? The instructions make no mention of it, and I cannot figure what it could be for. Also, how did you reroute your O2 wire?

I wondered the same thing about the little bracket.

    Sweet!

FedEx has my Sideburner's on the truck for delivery this morning! Can't wait. It's cold, windy and threating snow/rain and I'm going to be out putting pipes on my Raven.
