Ive been looking at the Max Air thing. It has several drawbacks in my opinion, I wouldnt like to remove the gas tank to service the filters.

So I went comparing and found a kit by thunder manufacturing that uses a K&N air filter mounted on a 90 degree elbow that replaces the OE air cleaner.

So do you guys have any opinions abou the thunder product??

I looked at that one, but wasn't sure how much water it would suck in if I got caught in the rain so I went with the Max Air. Removing the gas tank isn't a problem except it wipes the trip odometer. I forgot that it reset when I serviced them so I thought I had a full tank. Thank god for the reserve.
