Just wondering if anyone can post pics of an 1100 Custom with hard bags and some pics with soft bags on them so I can try and decide which way I want to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! Here is a pic of my 07 Custom with Riveroad throw overs. I had to make new holes to cinch up the cross strap as the bags droop so much I actually burned them on the pipe. so i tightened it way up high and tied them up to the support bars and now they work good, and i think i have a decent look...but i think i want to go to quick release ones in the future. hope this helps

Here's a pic of my bags...$44.95 (at) jafrum.com. They're not the best bags in the world (the buckles are a little cheap), but they can't be beat for the price. I too had to make some new holes to get them off the pipes.

So has anyone ever put hardbags on their Custom? If so would like to see a pic and what brand they are. Peace

I have soft throw over bags. Don't know where they're from, they came with the bike. They're not the expensive type, but they hold tons of stuff, are flexible, which I think is a plus compared to hard bags because they can conform to awkwardly shaped stuff. Not to mention they shine up nice with some armor all. I have enough room for my rain gear and water proof boots in one bag and can fit a couple bags of groceries in the other.
